Access to healthcare should never depend on who you are — and that belief drives our work at SRIHCD.
Early 2025, we trained 48 Primary Health Care workers from across Abia State to strengthen their capacity to deliver respectful, inclusive services to LGBTQ+ clients.

From understanding SOGIE concepts to practicing confidentiality and non-discrimination, participants gained practical tools to make healthcare accessible for everyone.

In collaboration with the Abia State Ministry of Health, ABSACA, and the Hospital Management Board, SRIHCD conducted a Joint Supportive Supervision visit across major facilities in Abia State.

The exercise identified service gaps, improved infection control, and enhanced collaboration between government and community partners.
This initiative ensures that healthcare remains inclusive, accountable, and community-driven.

Mental health remains one of the most overlooked aspects of wellbeing in Nigeria, especially among marginalized groups.
Through our counseling services, peer-support circles, and community outreach, SRIHCD provides safe spaces where individuals can express themselves without judgment.

The results have been remarkable — stronger resilience, improved confidence, and renewed hope.
